The WB-Sails Lines

Choosing the right sail for the job is not simple. You get easily lost in the jungle of different sailcloths and designs unless you are a pro. The sailor and the sailmaker have to know each others needs and abilities, to create a sail combination that suits the boat and the wallet as well.

To make the choice a little easier WB-Sails has divided its production into 5 tiers, the WB-Lines:

Series/2000 is your choice if
  • Your sailing involves mostly cruising in confined waters
  • Your boat is less than 35 ft long
  • You want reliable sails, but don't want to spend a fortune

HighTech Cruising Line is your choice if
  • You cruise on the open sea
  • Your boat is more than 35 ft or unusually heavy
  • You race occasionally at club level
  • You are ready to pay a little more for sails that last longer and tolerate abuse without tearing

Racing Line is your choice if
  • You race in open waters
  • Your boat is bigger than 40 ft
  • You want best performance without sacrificing durability
