The rope clutches and jammers, as well as some other fittings are from Spinlock. The Finnish agent for Spinlock, VESTEK, is one of Reima's supporters.

Spinlock's well known marketing director/special projects man Mark Turner has a mini-transat project of his own: Carphone-Warehouse is one of the favourites in the race after its good performance in the Mini-Fastnet (where she lost her mast, not long after this shot was taken).
